* WE REQUIRE EVERYONE WHO IS PARTICIPATING IN ONE OF OUR DIG OPTIONS, EXCEPT GROUND ZERO AND VIRTUAL DIGS, TO BE A MEMBER *
Becoming a member is easy! When you arrive at Mohawk Valley Mineral Mining, you will pay your yearly membership fee of $25 per person for the calendar year. Dig fees are separate.

Option #1: Day Digs
Day Passes to Explore MVMM
Standard Day Dig
Freedom to explore one of our many marked zones. Find a fresh spot and work your way into the dirt, searching for loose crystals OR find some promising dolostone ledge to pop open pockets with unbelievable crystals. An Official Guide will be available for light assistance throughout your Day Dig.
Check in begins 9:00AM. Please arrive on time. Transport will take members down based on sign in times. You can request transportation out of the mine at any time during the day. Please bring everything you need for the day and plan accordingly. If conditions are considered safe, we will allow you to bring your own all-wheel or four-wheel drive vehicle into the mine.

GROUND ZERO (Temporarily Closed)
Ground Zero is an affordable option to dig through fresh, untouched tailings from inside our mine. Bring your hammer and chisel to work large chunks of dolostone rock or sift through the dirt with a shovel. It is possible to discover water-clear gems, druze, and even a larger crystal. Ground Zero is situated near the parking lot, so you can be close to your vehicle.

Dig with POWER
Scott, the owner, will operate the excavator and tackle massive amounts of dirt & dolostone ledge. The machine does all of the hard work for you, then you jump in with your tools to finish the job.

*Please arrive at 8:30AM. Check-in begins at 9:00AM. You will go to the machine dig area and begin prospecting. The machine will begin operating an hour and a half after check-in. Please view all service details prior to booking your machine dig.

Enjoy a personalized excavator-led virtual mining adventure from the comfort of your home. Our expert guide will record your dig, uncovering hidden treasures just for you. Once the dig is complete, we’ll send you the video so you can watch the experience at your convenience. Everything found during your dig is yours to keep—we’ll carefully pack your discoveries into an 8"x8" box, (additional boxes available for $200 each.) Your crystals will be shipped free of charge via USPS.
