LET'S DIG!

Gear up for a one of a kind dig with power. 

Scott will operate the excavator, tackling the tough dolostone ledge. He will clear and bring down material for you to search through. 

This course is designed to present machine operation in relation to Herkimer Diamond collecting. Watch and learn from Scott, with over 30 years of experience as an operator, as he digs and explains his methods. Round up your fellow Rockhounds and come be part of the crew! 

$1000 for 4 hours (2 people)

$100 per additional person.

The educational class offers the same package that the regular dig does AND MORE! You will have 4 hours of one on one instruction with one of our guides that will offers more insight and promotes understanding of the MVMM mine. Your guide will discuss the mine geology, forest ecosystem and how/why these quarts formed. Your educational guide will be ale to assist you one on one while digging and help you find the best herks! Anything the guide finds during an educational dig, the customer gets to take them!

After your 4 hours of an educational class, you can continue to dig for the remainder of the day!

Educational digs are $200 per adult (Ages 12+) per day and $150 for children (Ages 11 and younger) per day. Each person must also have their annual membership for MVMM which is $25 per person.

Normally, each dig costs $100 per person. By purchasing a Frequent Miners Pass, you will receive a set number of digs in advance. We only require half the payment up front, then the other half is paid off as you use each dig. 

For example, if you purchase 20 digs you will pay $800 up front, then $40 per dig, totaling to $1600. 

The best part is, the digs never expire! You can use them any time, any year! 

You may have multiple people on one pass. Anyone who is going to use the Frequent Miner Club Digs must be added to your pass at time of purchase. The digs can only be used by those on the pass at time of purchase, you can not add people to the pass later.
