Yes! One thing that sets MVMM apart from other local mines is that we let our customers keep whatever they find in our mine, free of additional charges! Once you pay your dig fee, you're good to go.
While we hope all of our diggers find something during their time at MVMM, it is not a guarantee. Unfortunately, not everyone finds a goodie (or big crystal).
The 15 minute time slot you chose when booking your dig is for your arrival time. If someone else in your party has a different arrival time, that is okay- you can all arrive at the same time! We are flexible with arrival times, we just have the 15 minute slots for scheduling purposes within our software.
Please check out our Tips and Tricks page for our suggested tools to bring in your tool kit. Unfortunately, we do not have tools on site for diggers to use at this time.
We recommend all diggers wear boots and clothing that they don't mind get dirty. We do dig in the rain and snow, so check the weather prior to your scheduled dig to be sure of what to wear. Flip flops, crocs and open toed shoes are not permitted.
We require all diggers to wear our certified MVMM hardhat at all times, while in the mine or you will be asked to leave. You will receive your hardhat as part of your membership. You can not bring your own hardhat.
We offer primitive camping at MVMM! Come stay with us! We require you to book your camping spot in advance. Please contact us to reserve!

We recommend the following locations for overnight accommodations, all within a 30 minute drive from the mine:
There are also local listings on Air BNB
Once you arrive, you will check in at our Rock Shack. Then one of our staff will drive you down into the mine on trails. You can also drive your own vehicle down into the mine if you choose.
We have several primitive outhouses throughout the mine.
We understand that things come up, emergencies happen and people get sick. When you book your dig, you pay for the $25 deposit to reserve your spot in the mine. This deposit is not refundable, however you can apply it to a future dig!
